Focused Mission Projects

Disciples Volunteering runs several specific projects throughout the year. These projects are usually for a specific period of time and with a very specific agenda. Meals and housing are included in the registration cost and supervision is provided by Disciples Volunteering staff and/or trained Long Term Volunteers. Recent projects included rebuilding Disciples churches in Galveston and Beaumont, TX that were damaged or destroyed by hurricanes.

May 29 – August 6, 2011: Flood Recovery in Nashville, TN

July 6-9, 2011: General Assembly pre-Event, Nashville, TN

July 11 & 12, 2011: General Assembly service opportunities available with community organizations in Nashville, TN
